Jean-Philippe Maheu is going global at Twitter, shifting from his current role of vice president of U.S. client solutions to vp, global client solutions starting Jan. 1.
Maheu is filling the spot that was left vacant when Sarah Personette was elevated to chief customer officer in June.
He has been with Twitter for more than eight years, most recently credited with leading unprecedented accelerated growth in the U.S.
Maheu came on board when the company acquired social TV analytics provider Bluefin Labs in 2013. He was CEO at that company.
Prior to his current position, he started the global brands team and led global expansion of Twitter’s brand strategy and agency development teams.
